This means we have a genuine and legitimate reason for processing your personal information and we are not harming any of your rights and interests. We use your data in ways that you would reasonably expect, to present you with new job opportunities or partner with you as a client for your hiring needs.

From time to time we may also wish to get in contact with you regarding future job opportunities.

How do we collect information from you?
We obtain information about you when you use our website – for example when you contact us about products and services we provide or when you register with us or sign up for job alerts. We also obtain information when you send your CV and apply for a role, when you discuss potential job opportunities during telephone calls, or when you partner with us as a client for your hiring needs.
We sometimes obtain information about you if you have put your CV on a job board such as
Monster or Linkedin, but we will always notify you at the point of collecting such information.
What type of information is collected from you?
The personal information we collect might include your name, address, email address, phone number, CV, and, thus, your work history.
How is your information used?
We may use your information to:
- Process an application for a role you have authorized us to submit you for;
- contact you for future opportunities that may be interesting to you;
- To carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us;
- seek your views or comments on the services we provide;
- notify you of changes to our services;
- send you communications to update your details
We review our data retention periods for personal information regularly. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfill our statutory obligations (for example if you are contracted by us). We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us.
Who has access to your information?
We ensure that our access control policy is enforced to the extent that common users of our systems do not have access to and are prohibited from processing certain personal data.

We may share your data with third parties for purposes such as processing employment background checks, background screening, or assessing your IR35 status. For example, we may share your data with Kingsbridge Risk Solutions, to help our clients assess your IR35 status and ensure you have the necessary professional insurance. If you do not want your details shared with
Kingsbridge to discuss insurances or if you do not want your data shared with other third parties you can email GDPR@eu-recruit.com – N.B., we do not use data profiling or automated decision-making when processing your data.
We will not share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
How you can access and update your information
You have the right to request your data to be rectified, erased, or destroyed at any time.
You also have the right to ask for a copy of the information DataNtchold about you (we may charge £10 for information requests to cover our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you).
The accuracy of your information is important to us. If you change your email address or any of the other information we hold is inaccurate or out of date, or you wish to contact us for the aforementioned reasons, please email us at GDPR@eu-recruit.com or GDPR@eu-recruit.nl depending on your location. Alternatively, you can request a callback.
Security precautions in place to protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of your information
When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Any sensitive information is kept in a secure database which is encrypted and protected. This database undergoes a SOC1 Type 2 audit to verify its controls and processes about security around customer data. Our email and IT server are also encrypted, and the right operational checks are in place to ensure that your data does not fall into the wrong hands.
Transferring your information outside of Europe As part of the services offered to you through DataNtc, the information that you provide to us may sometimes be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area
(“EEA”). By way of example, this may happen if you have authorized us to submit you for a job application in a country outside of the EEA or if you have chosen to contract through an Umbrella Company that has solutions outside of the EEA. These countries may not have similar data protection laws to the UK. By submitting your data, you’re agreeing to this transfer, storing, or processing. If we transfer your information outside of the EEA in this way, we will take steps to ensure that appropriate security measures are taken to ensure that your privacy rights continue to be protected as outlined in this Policy.
